Towers, a name synonymous with magic in the minds of the common people.
Center of the magical arts, with the highest concentration of mages in the
world. A city which rose from humble beginnings, a remote outpost, ignored
by the empire which established it, to become the capital of a powerful
independent nation, the envy of its neighbors, an object of hatred for
religious reactionaries and manaphobes.
Now, unseen forces are gathering their strength, preparing to plunge Towers
into a war spanning time and space. Only a few have seen through the veil
of secrecy that hides them. Only a few have the resources to stop them.
