Sing The Joy Of Nature's Greeting; Sing The Joy Of The Pagan's Heart!
I am Pagan. I am a part of the whole of Nature. The
Rocks, the Animals, the Plants, the Elements, and Stars are my relatives.
Other humans are my sisters and brothers, whatever their races, colors,
genders, sexual orientations, ages, nationalities, religions, lifestyles.
Planet Earth is my home. I am a part of this large family of Nature, not
the master of it. I have my own special part to play and I seek to
discover and play that part to the best of my ability. I seek to live in
harmony with others in the family of Nature, treating others with
respect.
-Excerpt from I am
Pagan, by Selena Fox, of
Circle Sanctuary.

My religion is not my life, but instead shows me how to live it... It helps me to choose which is the right path to walk down, and keeps me from walking down the wrong one. Wicca teaches us that everything in the universe depends on everything else to survive. All things are connected to one another. Nothing is more important than any other thing. We all equally deserve to live our lives in peace.

One of the major crusades in my life came about because I am Pagan: an opposition to infant/child circumcision. Before my son, Morgan, came along I never gave the issue of circumcision much thought, and I really did not know what happened during one. The internet has been my main source of education, and what I learned about circumcision appalled & outraged me. I felt that I needed to do more than sit back and quietly oppose it. So, I started getting involved in educating people about the damage & harm circumcision causes. To read more about my thoughts on circumcision go here.

I am the center of my universe, but I do not live here alone. Each move I make creates a ripple in someone else's ocean. Each breath I take affects the air all around me. Each word I utter falls on someone else's ears. That which I touch is felt by another. That which I do will certainly affect another. That which I do not, will also affect another. We never know how far reaching something we say or do really is until it returns to us, and it always does. All things in life form a circle; whether we see the circle or not.

Here's a beautiful prayer I found online... May you enjoy
it as much as I have. :)

"Written by a Druid who is not really lost in Richmond, Virginia. He can be found to this day standing stones along the James River."

I will keep the magic-
The magic that hides
in the greens of leaves,
In the flight of birds,
In the smell of fertile earth.
I will keep the magic-
The magic that
glows in fire,
Falls in rain,
Blows in wind,
Rests in stone.
I will remember who I am and what I keep holy,
and that all else will pass like frost in morning.
I will keep the magic.
