It’s Showtime…

Well, we saw New Moon on Monday, and went to the 10:10 am showing… It’s the earliest I’ve ever gone to see a movie ever, but it was worth it. We had plenty of time to have lunch, pick up dinner at the grocery store, and got home with an hour to spare before Morgan was due to come home from school. It was Heaven.

I liked the movie, but felt they could have made the werewolves look a lot more realistic. As with any movie based off a book, they had to do some tweaking here, and there, but they did it well. I especially liked how they illustrated Bella’s months of deep depression, it was perfect. Now we have to wait a year for Eclipse to come out… *sighs*


My Sister's Keeper...


Tonight Pookey, and I, watched My Sister’s Keeper… Oh. My. Gods. It was such an excellent movie, and I recommend it highly. SEE IT, SEE IT, SEE IT!!! You’ll be glad you did.

I also just discovered this movie was also based on a book, and ordered it, as I am a firm believer that the book is almost always better than the movie. So, I’m expecting my head to explode with delight when I read the book. *grins*

New Moon...


Pookey has all of next week off from work, and Morgan has school for the first two days, so we’re happily taking advantage of that fact. We plan on going to see New Moon on Monday. With it just coming out in the theaters there’s a large number of matinee showings, so we’ll have plenty of time to see the movie, and then go out to eat afterwards. It’ll basically be a date, and we haven’t had one of those in far too long. It’ll be wonderful!
